社区福利工作文凭课程 (CHC50702)

课程描述

本课程文凭是两年全日制之学习。这门课主要是帮助学生能在人类服务领域中成为一个专业人士,其中所涉及的方面包括社区组织,传统社区教会组织,自我帮助机构和法律服务。传递是具有领域工作的实地教室。领域的工作/经验是教学的一个内在部分。在此领域中的工作者通常会做服务的传递,既有直接的客户工作,也有提高教育和社区发展计划。

在此程度的工作者能执行一定的高级技能,以及成为其他员工和志愿者的辅导员。

在此程度的工作者被要求能理解多元文化和历史,以及能在当地社区提供服务。 目前的澳大利亚移民局公布的SOL职业清单上,评估为60分。

课时

全日制 : 两年(72周) 

工作机会

成功完成这门课程的学生,将会有资格申请属于政府或一般的机构做福利工作。在此程度的工作者能执行一定的高级技能,以及成为其他员工和志愿者的辅导员。

课程入学要求

满足高中毕业或相当学历。有相关工作经验的成年学生通过面试或提交一定的资料者可申请入学。

CIC教学用的是英语,所以学生必须具有至少雅思IELTS 5.5 分的英语水平,要提供有关的文件证明。我校也接受其它形式的英语成绩。澳洲的签证要求从一些国家来的学生必须提供IELTS 5.5分的成绩,这无关本校的要求。

Diploma of Community Welfare Work 

 
OUTLINE 

19 units must be completed to attain this Qualification including: 15 compulsory units and 4 elective units. Elective units are drawn from the Community Services Training Package. Below are the compulsory units:

            CHCADMIN4B Manage the organisation’s finances, accounts and resources. Managing the financial, accounting and resourcing systems of the workplace to uphold accountability and efficiency requirements.
            CHCCD15B Develop and implement a community development strategy. Working with a range of individuals and in the community to facilitate public awareness and resolution of a range of issues.
            CHCCOM4B Develop, implement and promote effective communication techniques. Applying higher level communication skills required for effective operation in the workplace.
            CHCCM3B Develop, facilitate and monitor all aspects of case management. Facilitating all aspects of case planning.
            CHCCS402A Respond holistically to client issues. The focus of the work is assisting clients to address their own issues.
            CHCCWI3B Work with clients intensively. Delivering of targeted specialised client services based on individual case management and intervention.
            CHCGROUP3C Plan and conduct group activities. Participating in, establishing and leading a range of informal and formal groups in a variety of settings.
            CHCINF5B Meet statutory and organisational information requirements. Ensuring the information system of the organisation is effective and efficient.
            CHCNET3B Develop new networks. Setting up formal networks which will benefit the organisation and the clients.
            CHCOHS401A Implement and monitor OHS policies and procedures for a workplace. On completion of this course, the worker will be able to accurately implement and monitor defined OHS policies and procedures for a work place or area, within scope of responsibilities. The worker will also be capable of coaching the team in participating and contributing to OHS management issues. The worker will be able to perform duties as a safety committee member or a team leader in an organisation.
            CHCORG28A Reflect and improve upon professional practice. Describes the knowledge and skills required to evaluate your own work, continuing self-development and effective supervision within an ethical code of practice.
            CHCORG6B Co-ordinate the work environment. Undertaking supervisory and coordinating activities in work groups in community service organisations.
            CHCPOL3A Undertake research activities. Implementing research relevant to operations of the organisation.
            CHCPOL4A Develop and implement policy. Developing and applying policy initiatives in the workplace.
            CHCAD4A Provide advocacy and representation Representing the interests of the community and/or the community services industry. Representation will include the development of community representative and industry participative roles and positions in decision making forum.
