广告硕士课程-WTO后广告行业的高薪机会

墨尔本市的皇家墨尔本理工大学艺术媒体学院具有30多年的广告教学经验,于2000年特别推出13个月的广告硕士课程 ( Master Arts in Advertising ).

为了向各位苦于没有找到适合自己的专业的申请人提供更多机会了解该课程,澳大利亚留学网对该课程的高级讲师以及课程负责人Mr Paul Gaskin 进行了专访,得知该课程是目前澳大利亚最专业的1年的广告管理课程,传统的广告课程倾向于研究创意、编写方案,可是该课程却更加强调管理广告客户,整合广告系统,对广告市场进行财务角度的分析,对广告客户进行组织机构和购买行为分析,在掌握文化差异的基础上,重点进行广告战略策划,指定沟通和营销战略,从而学会在竞争环境中获得广告战的胜利。该课程在澳大利亚一推出就获得轰动,各大广告公司经理纷纷报名,有的经理生意繁忙,他们就采用了远距离教学方式,采用先进的网上技术,进行学习,研究,递交作业等。Paul教授还特别提到中国广告市场非常庞大,但是目前没有系统的广告硕士课程,该课程非常适合有志于在WTO竞争环境中想进一步获得发展突破的广告公司经理和大公司媒体、公关人员,也适合于刚刚大学毕业,想在广告界和传媒界有所作为的应届毕业生。


适合对象:各商业公司负责广告媒体、市场营销、公关等行业的专业人才。因为培养目的为具备管理国际广告公司的高级人才,所以要具备良好的英文水准。特别欢迎英语专业的人才入读。

就业前景:广告高级人才对于入世WTO的中国来说,地位将及其重要,中国的产品甚多,可是缺乏品牌意识,从长远来讲,广告人才将是企业营销的重要力量。本专业为广大资深广告销售人才提供进

修深造机会,创造优越条件。就业方向包括各国际大型广告公司、媒体公司、营销服务公司,或者自己创办广告公司。如果你本人已经具有学士学位,也可能可以营销专家身份通过495等类别移民澳大利亚。或者申请人加修翻译、印刷图像设计等课程完成移民。

修业期限:13-18个月,强化课程可以13个月完成。

入学资格
- IELTS 6.5分,如果没有达到可以配套语言直升班,对口语有一定要求
- 任何专业学士学位毕业, 无需工作经验  with an undergraduate degree in any discipline,
- 或者没有学士学位但是有至少五年广告或者销售促销、直复营销的工作经验 or (ii) without a degree, but with at least five years of professional/managerial experience in advertising or a related field (marketing, sales promotion, direct marketing, etc).

授课方式:可以course work上课方式在墨尔本进行 或者进行网上远距离授课

学费:澳币A$16,200元

Program Code - Title: MC130 - Master of Arts (Advertising) 

This program provides an in-depth exploration of the range of advertising knowledge from academic and professional sources around the world. It is focused on high powered advertising strategy, and the processes that lead to it.

The Graduate Diploma program offers a preparation for managing complex advertising campaigns, integrated with other promotional activities such as commercial sponsorship, sales promotion, brand public relations and direct response. Branding theory is central.

Account management, account (or strategy) planning, media planning and agency management are the specific professional areas covered. (While all students study Creativity in Advertising, this program is not designed for those who plan to be advertising copywriters or art directors.)

Masters students will also explore wider issues involved in managing organisations which produce such campaigns.

Graduates will be likely to proceed to professional and management roles in advertising agencies, in similar and related promotional agencies, in management consultancy, and in organisations (business, government and non-profit) which use advertising to achieve their goals.

In addition, graduates will be able to:

  • conduct and/or use research, with critical insight into its validity for decision-making;
  • develop and/or build theories, and understand the process of theory development;
  • implement changed personal and organisational behaviours in the knowledge of new or changed theories;
  • create the conditions for more effective and efficient structures within advertising;
  • respond effectively to changing societal demands on advertising;
  • gain mastery of the writing in their field of knowledge and be able to communicate about advertising knowledge so as to influence their peers in business; and
  • gain the confidence of their advertising clients.

Unique aspects of the program are:

  • This is a specialist Advertising Masters degree - one of few in the world;
  • Our teaching staff have senior level practical experience in industry, many combining teaching with their ongoing industry careers;
  • Our computer lab is equipped with state-of-the-art media software - students are instructed and learn the planning and buying disciplines using these tools;
  • Many students secure internships with industry bodies during their period of study, gaining excellent practical experience and establishing contacts that give them the edge in securing positions upon graduation.

Duration

Please Note: part-time study is not available to International Students.

Masters: one and a half years full-time, or three years part-time. This duration incorporates Graduate Diploma: one year full-time, or two years part-time and Graduate Certificate: six months full-time, or one year part-time.

The program is offered with a start in February or July.

Entrance Requirements

English Language

One of the following:

  • IELTS - 6.5+ (no band less than 6.0)
  • TOEFL - Paper Based = 580+ (TWE 4.5+)
  • TOEFL - Computer Based = 237+ (TWE 4.5+)
  • REW - English for Academic Purposes Advanced 1 & 2
